subscription & communications problems

Hi,

I've sent several emails to Alberto, Mariangela & Lino but no one has as yet replied.

I paid my subscription for 2015 and have only received issue No. 1 of Cactus & Co. My understanding is that issue 2/3 has been published but I have yet to receive a copy.

This year I paid my subscription and to date no issues have been received.

I've sent notification of my change of address with no acknowledgement.

Please would some one reply here to explain what is going on.

I'm unlikely to renew after this year, having been a member from the start back in 1996, since I'm now very frustrated with the complete absence of communication.

Is this the address you used?

Although my former work email address at The Open University is still active I hardly ever use it because remote access is sometimes problematic.

Looking forward to a positive response to resolve this very long standing frustrating issue.

I do enjoy receiving Cactus & Co, and have been a member from the start, so hope I can remain a member without further problems.

Hi Mariangela,

Still no email received at the address I gave above yesterday.

This saga has been dragging one for far too long. It is now over a year since I last received an issue of Cactus & Co. and even receipt of that issue had problems. My interest in this journal is rapidly receding such that I deeply regret renewing for this year.

This is especially disappointing since I have been a member and supporter of this organisation since 1996.

It is all the more annoying because the Cactus & Co. subscription rate is the highest overseas rate I pay for a C & S journal but it is NOT good value for money, especially considering all the time that has been wasted trying to obtain copies of the journal. :( :( :(

I sincerely hope that other members of the BCSS have received better service than I have had from Cactus & Co.

No, sorry Colin. Alberto and I have used another mail address: [email protected]. I have replied to your message the 30th May.
Alberto have sent you another copy of the 2015 Journal, at the beginning of June, at the address of Open University. Now, he has sent the first number 2016 at your new address.
Today we are sending another copy of 2015 issue.
